i have returned to tuxpan and am busy running the bar while luis takes a vacation from his vaction. he is at the beach this weekend on a "boys weekend" with his friends. and i am left to run the bar and survive on my meager spanish until his return on sunday, april 23rd. wisely he bought me a dozen roses before he left, and i hope he is bringing me some special present when he returns!
so, just so you don't think i've gone off and given up on my blog, i thought i'd let you know i will be back soon with other updates from my trip to portland. check back soon.

So, kind of like a survival game living in another country with another language, and another everything, huh?
Well, I hope the survival part gets a little easier and the adventurous/fun part gets bigger as you stick with it.
Wasn't it trippy getting back to the USA? Like entering a dream when you see those English signs all of the sudden.
